(1st time using this system, so please bear with me…) My heating and cooling system is 22 years old. My existing Honeywell thermostat uses 2 wire ( R & W) with a manual heat- cool switch. I bought a Wyze unit with the C-wre adaptor, but I dont want to attempt installation (and be frustrated) if the Wyze thermostat isnt compatible. All of the info I’ve seen posted with two- wire installs is for heat-only units.
Do you have pictures of your current setup? 2 wires with AC is going to be pretty tough with the wyze, you’d really want at least 3 wires.
