Is it really Error code 90

Legacy customers: i noticed many of you spoke of trashing your Camaras after not being able to remove error code 90. I kept digging for an answer & noticed my wifi for this particular cam had mysteriously been switched to my old mifi network. I found directions on ‘how to fix that’ which was to delete the cam & add as new. Well being a legacy customer, we were given a choice back when wyze wanted to start charging for cam plus that, since they promised us they would never charge us for the service, they gave us an option of how much we wanted to pay. We could even choose to pay nothing. Well, this changing my internet to my old modem address was their way of making me pay. There isn’t a way for the consumer to correct the address for just 1 cam. So, not even thinking about the outcome since my frustration level was off the charts to get this error code removed, i deleted the cam. When i readded, it was oh no. You can’t add a cam anymore without getting cam plus. I had no choice at that point. The camera was still good & there was no going back. So legacy customers…beware. stuff is happening to take away our free or discounted price. I hate it when a comany becomes so full of themselves, they will do away with the people who helped them get off the ground.

I think there might be a misunderstanding.

Cam Plus Lite is still available to anyone who previously signed up for it, even if you delete your camera and set it back up, you just have to assign the camera back to the Cam Plus Lite License in the app or on the Web, it just doesn’t assign the camera to it automatically. It hasn’t been removed unless you agree to cancel it.

New accounts can no longer enroll in Cam Plus Lite though. It’s only available to legacy users who have already enrolled in it. So if you cancel or change your account, you won’t be eligible to get it again. Only existing enrollments are grandfathered into it.

If you previously enrolled, it should still be there. Go to the Account Tab, then Services then choose cam plus lite and click on Manage Cameras to add your camera back on there.

Cam Plus Lite also isn’t currently available to people who are using the Cam Unlimited plan, as Wyze treats the unlimited plan as superior to the lite plan and gives priority to the unlimited. Then if you cancel unlimited you should get CPLite access back again as long as you didn’t delete/cancel it.
