Is it my phone?

the new version of the Wyze cam app was auto-installed on my Samsung a-12. I spent hours figuring out why my cameras wouldn’t stay connected. i then un-starred all the cameras on the favorites page. all cameras function as before. is it my phone that can’t handle the load?

same here and with a lot of Wyze users. The latest app update from wyze is trashed. It caused connection issue. It did not happen before the latest update. I am using Samsung S21 FE.

That’s a good workaround that I use. It seems the cameras all connecting at the same time is causing connection errors. And I found out today that recording “Continuous” (rather than “Events Only”) to SDcard contributes to the problem.

i currently have 6 cameras. i find if i group them, the app functions as it did before the update. groups include 3 cameras each. I haven’t tried all 6 in one group yet because I didn’t want to push it. so I’m gonna push it. i’ll see what happens. if you don’t hear from me about this all is well. thanks for the input.

i still have all cams on continuous recording.

I have eight cams in my group with no issue, but who knows?
