Is it alright to mount a Wyze cam pan v3 with command strips?

Will command strips be enough to support a Wyze cam pan v3? I live in a place where I really can’t drill holes into the wall

I have mounted the metal disc/washer with command strips, then just hung the camera on the disc, at a location the second floor, so I could easily remove it if need be. Been like that more than 2 years.

are you talking about the v3? the pan v3 doesn’t have a metal disc

it all depends on the command strips and they sell so many now!

but here is a thought, 3M now makes a velcro type strip, and I have actually found them to be sufficiently stronger than most of their regular command strips, they have a large one that actually reports to hold 16 pounds. I use their smaller ones on every picture I have in my office and there are a whole lot of pictures in my office.

I don’t see why that type of strip wouldn’t work perfectly and you could pull it down if needed and put it back up too Being the velcro. And when I stayed velcro it’s not actual velcro it’s actually a plastic weird bubble velcro thing. It’s kind of hard to describe but it’s my new favorite thing

And I believe you can get these at Walmart too but it’s something to check out, I want to say that it’s tested in stronger than the regular command strips but I’m not entirely sure on that, I just know that these new ones are rated to much more than our camera’s way

3m command velcro

For the record, yes, I was talking about the V3. Mind did. They are simply a big diameter but thin, metal washer. You don’t need to use the one that came or used to come in the box. Maybe the V3 Pro no longer comes with the washer/disc. But mine did. I have half a dozen I didn’t even use.
