I don’t own a printer, but I have access to some through my local library, and that’s how I was able to fabricate a mount for my Video Doorbell v2. Modeling and producing a wedge with a given angle should be even easier if the dimensions for the Mounting Sticker are known.
At the library I’ve used a MakerBot Replicator+ and Prusa i3 MK3S+, and I prefer the Prusa hardware and software. I think @spamoni uses some model of Bambu.
I kind of agree. I think it’s kind of a niche product as far as applications go, and I’m a little surprised at the price considering they’re able to leave out things like the IR and spotlight. I do think that it has good features. If the mount is solid, keeps it in place long term, and blocks unwanted light as expected, then those are pluses, as is the longer power cable. I’ll be interested to see what they do with the price on this one.
