Same here this has never been fixed.
Its annoying to pay for cam plus and only getting 25-30 second videos when someone is clearly moving around in the frame
I think I see the issue. there has been someone sitting outside my house for 30 minutes now, moving around, and the camera isn’t even detecting them all the time, when it clearly a person and clearly moving. I have the sensitivity set to 100% and it doesn’t even register the person.
I am trying to monitor the litter room of my cats to find out who’s sick, but the videos stop at 18-20 seconds… pff.
The issue here is determining “When does motion stop?”
After much discussion in another thread, I’ve come to realize that the criterion is different from how the camera determines this and how the cloud storage does. Simple workaround, install an SD card and hit the “(SD) Playback” button. The SD recording usually is complete.
If you have the cam set for continuous recording it would be better than just have Event recordings to the SD. I never liked just event recordings, I want to see the entire version.
This is what happens to me.
Sometimes I just switch to watching on my SD card and just use the service for the more accurate pings; but it’s not what we’re paying for, is it?
If it would let me subscribe to Lite, I’d do that in an instant, it’s the actual service I’m getting.
Cam+ Lite misses 5-minute worth of events every time. That’s if everything’s working right. You’re better off relying on your SD card instead.
