How to use Wyze Outdoor Cam without a Base Station?

Wyze should really make a battery camera that does not require a base station . Direct wifi connection would be nice

I think it’s because there is some sort of heartbeat optimization in the base that allows the WCO to conserve battery rather than maintaining a full-time connection to standard wi-fi.

What bothers me about a dedicated base expanded with MicroSD storage is that you can’t play things back from it. That has always seemed ridiculous.
