How to remove metal disk from a window?

I attached the adhesive metal disk to a front window for my Wyze Cam. Recently I moved the camera to a different location where I could attach it without a disk. Now I have a metal disc attached to my front window that I would like to remove. I would appreciate any practical suggestions that I could try without cracking the window.

“Goo Gone” (or similar) adhesive removal liquid worked for me.

Take dental floss and run it behind the disk then clean up the residue with a razor blade.

I’ve heard heat from a hair dryer will loosen the adhesive. I wouldn’t expect a cracking danger unless it was winter (especially if you have a defect in the glass then).

This method…Works the best.

A single edge razor blade and glass cleaner will set you free.
