How to record on MICROSD CARD on Wyze outdoor cam?

I have the outdoor cam and installed microSD CARD in the camera and it detects MICROSD card as shown in screenshot but there is no option to record on SD card. There is no toggle on option . The microsd card is 128gb sandisk ultra,

How do I turn micro sd card recording on? I can’t find it in the app. I updated to new firmware already.

Hoe does microsd card recording work? Can you get person detection only and view the recorded events?

Also I used to have the basic free cam plus lite I believe it is called . But I no longer see the option. it is all paid cloud subscription. Thanks

found it and set it to 30 days motion only. Don’t know why somewhere it said go to settings, advance settings and turn on microsd card recording .

what happened to the camplus lite 12 or 20 seconds we were used to without paying for subscription?

I no longer see that option. it is showing paid subscription only.

Right now if I don’t do either the scheduled recording on MicoSD card or paid cloud subscription, my camera won’t record any events?

If you have a cam plus lite account you just need to log in and associate the cam to it, it may have become un-linked.

If you don’t have one, unfortunately they are not issuing new Lite accounts.

Given the age of that cam, the fact that it needs a base station, and the nuances with Micro SD recording you may want to consider the Battery Cam Pro (if you need battery). Just note that that one is not compatible with Cam Plus Lite. The last cam to work with Lite is the v3, so if you don’t need battery, that would be another one to consider, and you can link it to your existing Lite account.
