How to Disable Motion detection for Wyze motion detector (sense)

I could also use this feature, to ignore motion sensor triggers as part of a routine, or to disable the motion sensor as part of a “trigger” rule.

Example, I have a lighting rule in my garage, where 1 of the three bulbs is on, the other 2 are off for my golf simulator. I use the motion sensor to turn all lights on when going into the garage, and turning all lights off after 5 min of no detected motion.

I don’t want all the lights to come on while my “simulator” lighting rule is on. So as part of my rule, I want to be able to “turn on bulb 1, turn off bulb 2 and 3” as well as “disable motion sensor” or somehow stop it from triggering an event… until I run my other rule wich is “turn off simulator lighting” where I’ll make a rule that turns on all 3 bulbs, and re-enables the motion sensor.

Ability to disable the motion sensor, or at least disable or enable event triggers of the motion sensor as part of a rule or trigger action would be awesome.

Same solution for me - I’m using a SmartPlug connected to the camera and Turn Off when I’m in home and On when I’m out . Simple solution (of course the camera that is turning off is the one having the bridge sensors) . My Mistake is sensor and not sensors (plural) because the only sensor that it works is the motion one - contact sensors are useless and can not be connected (I don’t want to program in Assembler or C++ again in order to solve the problem because I saw many solutions in many forums talking about HA and the idea is to buy a simple DYI product) Searching now in another intrusion and detection System because Wyze sensors are not realiable . I didn’t post anything about the sensor because it doesn’t make any sense with hundreds of users posting the same issue .
I’ll continue funding out in case I find a solution just to helo others (Don’t send contact sensors to the trash yet)

I’ll continue finding out about it and in the case I find a solution (almost impossible) post will be done (Don’t send contact sensors to the trash yet)

Lucky that I bought only one set of the now discontinued sensors.

I use a similar technique to temporarily prevent motion alerts: place a folded piece of opaque paper in front of the motion sensor when I do not want the sensor to trigger an event, and remove the paper when I want the sensor to trigger motion. A blindfold.
