What is the best way to clean the HEPA filter? The instructions printed on the dustbin seem to imply it can be washed, but I’m not sure that’s correct.

I have used the kitchen faucet spray judiciously to clean, then let dry for 24 hours. Have cleaned a couple of times with no apparant problems.

Be sure not to neglect drying before you put the filter back in. I didn’t think about this and did not leave mine out to dry and it molded rather severely.

I washed mine with water in the sink and gave it time to fully dry. Worked great. Thanks!

I have been doing that for quite a while now… The filter appears to function as it did when new, if cleaned, and allowed to dry prior to reinstall.
