Robot Vacuum has stopped working

Vacuum has stopped working. Voice says the dust bin isn’t installed, but we have installed and reinstalled it multiple times. Firmware is up to date and we have reset the unit - but still not working.

Sorry your having this issue. Try cleaning the outside of the dust bin and the slot it goes into.

Welcome to the forum @srisotto

Sorry to hear of your troubles. Have you tried making sure the dust bin holding area is free from all debris?

Assuming you are using the Wyze dustbin and Wyze HEPA filter, look at the HEPA filter (it’s installed into the back of the dustbin). There is a very small black cylindrical magnet stuck in the corner of the filter. That magnet aligns with a sensor in the vacuum housing which determines if the dust bin is installed. Try cleaning the area on the vac housing that aligns with the magnet. Also make sure no metal is stuck to the filter where the magnet is located. If you are running a non-Wyze HEPA filter and still have the old filter, try swapping.

Thanks -

Looks like the HEPA filter dropped off when we last emptied the dust bin. Replacement is out of stock on the web site - guess we’re out of luck.

My wife reminded me that we had a replacement filter in a kitchen drawer, so we’re all good.

Thanks for your help. Have to be more careful emptying the dust bin!
