This morning I was emptying the dustbin when I accidentally knocked it off the charger at the same time. To my surprise, the vacuum said 2-1 wet mop container removed. I reinstalled it and removed it several times after but it just said “dustbin removed”
Makes me wonder if that’s the next release.
Don’t get excited. Wyze was testing a mopping robot and decided it was a bad idea. They never fixed the message in the firmware.
In other words: Wyze engineers aren’t very good at their jobs.
I paused my vacuum while cleaning my kitchen floor to check if the dust bin needed emptying. The vacuum stopped and said, “Cleaning paused…” followed by the OPs note about a liquid container clearly meant for another device. Fine.
However, when I replaced the bin and hit the power button again, the vacuum said, “Resuming cleaning…” and then proceeded to moribundly bump around my house a 1/4 speed, seemingly clueless about its location.
Wyze: PLEASE STOP BREAKING MY PRODUCT WITH YOUR UPDATES
