How do you extend the range on the base station for the outdoor camera?

This will not work.
The Wyze cam Outdoor only connects to the WCO base. You can’t extend the base’s wireless network. A range extender for the WCO base is currently on the Wishlist

Range Extender for New Outdoor Cam

With the new WYZE outdoor cam on the way this year I have an interesting idea. Since the new outdoor cam uses a base-station to communicate with the camera there seems to be no way to extend the range between the outdoor cam and the base-station. This idea is for a device that just plugs into the wall and boosts the signal between the base-station and the camera. This would allow you to put a camera father away from you home and extend functionality. For me this would allow me to put a camera ou…

To solve the range issue, you can move the base for better coverage or setup another base.
The base must be hard-wired (via Ethernet) for setup, but you can connect it wirelessly after. Remember that each base con connect up to 4 cameras.
