Does anyone know if I can take the Wi-Fi network that the wyze base station puts out for the outdoor camera and extend it with a Range extender like this one?
This will not work.
The Wyze cam Outdoor only connects to the WCO base. You can’t extend the base’s wireless network. A range extender for the WCO base is currently on the Wishlist
To solve the range issue, you can move the base for better coverage or setup another base.
The base must be hard-wired (via Ethernet) for setup, but you can connect it wirelessly after. Remember that each base con connect up to 4 cameras.
