Home Monitoring System testing failure message

I’m unable to finish the setup of the Home Monitoring System. After the last step, of agreeing to TOS, you get the option to “test your system?” Whether I tap “Enter Test Mode” or “Skip,” I get the same message, “Settings update failed.” I can’t get past this screen, and have to exit out and reopen. It’s beyond frustrating!
