Home monitoring setup. Hub won’t pair

Got my home monitoring system! Tried to set up the hub in the app. I go to pair the hub to my phone the app never finds it.

-Tried over ten times.
-Tried plugging directly into router
-Tried moving to better location with stronger signal

Times out every time. Any advice?

Did you connect to the hub via bluetooth through your phone?

Figured it out. Firmware on my phone needed updating.
