You’re welcome! Even when I thought about it, I considered that it might be a silly thing to ask, but I figured if I didn’t ask then you might not think about it. It’s easy to bump things on touch screens by mistake. Glad that fixed it for you.

Support sent me a new V2 doorbell and I had the same issue. After a few days of resetting the V2, I decided to setup a eero mesh network. I have an AT&T AIA hub which dropped the V2 every day. Now with the eero mesh network my V2 doorbell has stayed online for 48 hours so far. The v3 cameras had no problem connecting to the AIA hub and stayed up 24x7.

I was sent a replacement V2 for connection issues about 2 weeks ago, the replacement camera initially connected fine and then worked for about a day then was offline again (not sure of a timestamp, it was installed 8/21 and was offline the morning of 8/23) & I’ve not been able to add the device/ get it to connect since. I even bought a wifi extender thinking that was the issue even though I have two other Wyze cameras further from my router that have no issues. Thanks!

Myself nor my daughter are able to message this person to send her MAC Address. She’s on her 2nd doorbell and it literally worked for 2 days and is flashing orange again. Her first one worked maybe a month or 2 and same thing. She even bought a WiFi extender which she has a Wyze camera that’s further away and it’s fine- She definitely has this issue.

If the doorbell is only 5 months old and has maybe worked a total of 3 months is she eligible for a refund or anything? It kind of sucks that she bought this doorbell for security on her home and it’s been offline more than she’s been able to use it. Kind of bad business……

MAC 80:48:2C:32:E5:14
No offline timestamp as she tried to remove the device and reinstall and can’t even get the doorbell to connect to her account now.

Just installed my first ever Wyze device the doorbellV2 last weekend and started having the issue yesterday, and it could not find 2.4Ghz Wifi till I factory reset it and works for less than a day and disconnect again Glad to know this is not uncommon.

I already shared my Mac Address and log id to customer support (while the customer support insists me to try the trouble shooting steps furthur to “fix it”…). Let me know if you have a concern releasing your fix directly, I can help dogfood the fix (only if you promise your fix will not burn my wires :stuck_out_tongue: )

Please help. My new doorbell might as well be a brick. I prefer to get at least 4-5 years from my wyze products before they become bricks.

Any news about this? I had a day or two where it stayed online longer, but now it is back to going offline after only and hour or two. Everyone who comments about their WiFi routers are just masking the real issue, NONE of my other cameras do this, ONLY the Doorbell V2, so I don’t care if there is some issue with the type of router, there is something different about the Doorbell V2 and it needs to be fixed or replaced, what’s the point of having a doorbell cameras it doesn’t stay connected? People shouldn’t have to replace their routers for one camera. My patience is running thin.

@WyzeBaohua tagging you in this post as my daughter nor myself are able to DM you. Are there any updates? Or is everyone who purchases the V2 doorbell essentially buying a product that will maybe work for a day or so before becoming a brick?!?

@WyzeBaohua also tagging you here. My daughter has tried all of the trouble shooting and even received a replacement device which worked less than a day before the same issue occurred.

I think at this point Wyze should be offering replacements or at the very least a hefty discount on a doorbell model that actually works….

I have the Wyze doorbell V2 and it keeps on going offline after a week or so. I upgraded the transformer to 24v 40A one and I am still having the issue. The router is only 15 feet away so I don’t think it’s a distance issue. This is horrible for such a device, to reset I have to unhook the doorbell and unscrew one of the connections for a minute, very annoying!

Here is my info:

MAC address: 80482CF8A8A
Firmware Version 4.51.2.0578

You have ATT?

No, I have Comcast Xfinity.

New firmware release for this issue hope it will fix.

Okay so far so good after the update, it has stayed up since updating. Still not ready to call it “fixed”, but I am hopeful (and grateful)! Will check back in in a week or so and provide an update.

I just purchased the doorbell cam v2 about a week ago now and am having the same issue as everyone else. Are they still wanting us to send MAC addresses. I am also using ATT fiber with the supplied router.

My camera has stayed up since the update! I’m running firmware version 4.51.2.1041.

I did the update to 4.51.2.1041. Third day and the cam is still up so, good sign.

Okay maybe spoke too soon, it went offline a couple of days ago and I had to cycle the power. It has stayed up since then, but now I am worried.

My DBV2 is also disconnecting from WiFi and the orange ring is flashing. This happens every month or so.

I have tried all the fixes mentioned, but it still seems to happen randomly. Is this issue still being worked on? @WyzeDongsheng @WyzeBaohua @WyzeJasonJ
