Bought a house last fall and got the wyze thermostat working for heat but doesn’t seem like the AC is kicking on. Any help is appreciated.
do you have a picture of the C adapter you installed?
Put the blue Y wire on the C adapter’s Y terminal strip and the white Y wire that is on the C adapter back on the furnace’s Y terminal strip.

Thank you so much.
Ok so last night it was hot in the house so the air was running constantly. I get home from work today and the fan on the ac unit outside is running even though wyze says everything is off. Also if I set everything to off it doesn’t seem to respond. Should I reprogram?
How did you program it to begin with?
You should have told it that your old thermostat had the following wires:
Y,G, R, W
Yes. And I just redid it just to make sure. The heat and blower work like normal but the ac unit never shuts off outside. Should the extra white marked Y be in the c adaptor? Seems nothing from the ac is going to the wyze adaptor. It’s straight to the board. Although I don’t know anything about what I’m saying haha.

I see the problem. You attached the Y wire that goes to the AC to the R terminal instead of to the Y terminal.
Thank you. Works perfectly now.
