We have several of these cameras in our home, one is in a box turtle cage. My wife was just cleaning it and her voice is coming through the headset im wearing while i am on our PC.
This is TOALLY unacceptable. The mic is turned off and it is transmitting anyway and being picked up by a third party…

Are you watching the live view on your PC? Do you have the mic enabled in live view and/or do you have sound detection enabled on the cam?
This isn’t like a baby monitor picking up someone’s cordless phone, the audio is encoded and sent as data, something on the other end has to decode it, either the wyze app or the web view.
Not sure what model of Wyze camera you have, but there are tutorials on how to unhook the microphone. Here is a video on v3 cameras.
