Wyze Cam V2 - No Sound Through Microphone on Camera

I see where this question has been asked many times - but I have never seen an answer that worked. I have five Cam V2s and two Pan Cams. They are all great!! I can no longer hear sound from two of the Cam V2s, the other three work perfectly. I can speak into them and they are heard, but I cannot hear back. All of my settings on all cams are identical so the settings are not necessarily the problem. They are all up to date and I have tried everything suggested on this forum to no avail. Short of submitting a support ticket - does anyone have new information?

Hi @mparegian, your description is not quite clear to me because of the title compared to the text in your post. Are you having trouble with the microphone, or speaker, on the camera?

Please choose from the following:

  1. The problem is hearing sound in the app on the phone when you speak into the camera microphone

  2. The problem is hearing sound through the camera speaker when you speak into the app via the phone microphone

I’m not sure I understand either of your options. When I access the camera remotely - I cannot hear anything from the camera that is being said in the room where the camera is through my phone. Conversely, when I speak into the camera through my phone - people in the room where the camera is can hear me. I have this problem on two cams but not on the other two cams. Does this help?

From your latest description, the problem is not with the cameras’ speakers, but with the microphones, which was choice #1. I’m going to change the title to make it more clear to others looking at this topic. What @HDRock said is probably the route you’re going to have to take because you said 3 out of 5 are working properly. :slight_smile:

Oh yes, that is the first thing I check for as sometimes it is not on.
