It’s not just WYZE. All of the security monitoring companies have become worthless. We dropped our expensive monitoring service when they said we must give our neighbors and others phone numbers…Crazy right. They said the new law is to cut down on false alarms…They must first contact a neighbor(s) and ask them if they see any suspicious activity of indication of a fire (get real). Then they now have a 30 second delay too before they can contact police or fire dept, totally worthless now. We installed a $79 self monitoring product with our Ademco system. It now contacts us (Text, Phone, multiple numbers, multiple people) Immediately (24/7) indicating a break in or fire. 100% better then the traditional monitoring.
I have been with WYZE since they started and sadly they are dumping as many products as possible, most are garbage. I have 10 of their V3 cameras and they are screwing customers who buy their cameras install an SD card and then they restrict what you can view why… Because they push you to get their worthless CamPlus subscription and keep hounding you everyday… The SD card is all you should need to view whatever is on YOUR SD card based on the size of that SD card not what they determine. For people who want their worthless subscription have at it but leave the rest of us alone and support the SD card users.

Years ago, I joined one of those lawsuits. I got a check for 75 cents. It cost about 35 cents to mail it to me.
Lawyers are the only ones who make money out of class action lawsuits, unless a multimillion dollar case.
Been getting that. I think I have proof that wyze actually has a way to make their items crash just so they can get people to purchase more.
Everybody needs to cancel their subscription and only use cards and maybe that will get wyze to stop ripping people off. They want 130 bucks per yr for features thats free with most companies. Wyze use to be great and affordable and thwir cams actually lasted and its like they have made the worst changes possible to help them get the most money possible even when they aren’t even as up to date as most companies. If people dont take a stand it will soon only be affordable to the rich
Im a single disabled mom been using since 2019 and now I can’t afford it anymore and we need it now more than ever due to the crimes and dangers where me and my kids live , I just told customer service 3 of 5 cams crashed at midnight and it was all 4 cams that was on the security system group and the 2 most expensive now longer work which I believe wyze made the crash happen and made sure to not let the flood lights work thinking id buy more, well I told them I have no way to get any more now because im a single disabled mom and with those 2 not working we dont even have any outdoor lights because those were our lights and now i have to stay up all night to make sure these thieves dont steal my car or break into my home and thats what will happen being on a pitch black road in a bad neighborhood. Im terrified and wyze dont care and wont help. They offered 20 bucks on the 2 flood light pro cameras their system crashed and made not work which theres not way it did that on its own wyze had to have done something to make that happen at the very second the clock hit midnight and there was absolutely no issues of any kind and no bad weather etc. But now I have to sit here terrified for god knows how long till I can find a way to get new flood light cams but I think its time I actually leave wyze as they dont care about reliable customers they only care about money and with all those fake 5 star reviews thats paid for people will always buy . We have got to find a way to put a stop to this. Im beyond devastated right now.
