I had a working system for a month with 2 V3 cams and a hardwired video doorbell. Last night the doorbell went offline. The doorbell works/rings and lights up. The app shows it offline.
I tried to restart the doorbell and get the restart failed. Still offline the next day. V3 cams are fine on app.
I have not installed the new firmware and it will not let me now.
Anything else I can try?
Did you power cycle it by either turning off the breaker or disconnecting the power wires for about 30s?

Yes that fixed it Slabslayer ! Thanks! Should I do the new firmware or ?
Glad you found a solution!
That is up to you. I have been running 4.25.1.314 since it was Beta tested and then released back in November and haven’t had any issues with it.
I have whole house surge protection.
With an older/mature device like the doorbell, it does not sound like firmware would cause the doorbell cam to go offline and still work as a doorbell.
I really like the wired doorbell BTW. Thanks again !!!
It may not have been a power issue that caused the problem. It sounds more likely that there was a blip in the router logic that caused the doorbell IP to terminate or conflict with another device and the DHCP didn’t fix it. Power cycling the doorbell forced a new login to the network so it got a new IP.
Good Point !
Maybe that was why when I tried to restart the doorbell in the app, I got the restart failed message. Still kind of weird that the 2 V3 cams were fine, but they are not on doorbell low AC voltage,
Gonna sleep on updating all firmware.
