This is not an IOS issue.
I had to create a new account because I lost the original account email.
I have V1/2 cams and OG cams. When setting up the OG cams it prompted something my encryption, and failed to connect. I tried again and it worked. Now, when trying to set up my older cams, they won’t connect at all. Same connection.
Everything worked fine last week.
What am I missing?
If they’re tied to an old account, do a factory reset before attempting to reconnect.
Note, do NOT do this with the “cam outdoor” model but does not look like you have one of those.
How do you do that?
Will vary a bit with each cam but instructions are on their site, just google like “Wyze cam V1 factory reset” etc. With the OG you hold the setup button for 15 seconds (or until the light changes), not sure if it is the same on the older ones but probably similar.
