I have a 3rd Gen Google Chromecast/TV (firmware 1.61.329909).
I have 3 Wyze Cam V3s. Only 1 of the cameras shows on the Chromecast and from my Google Home App. Version 4.36.9.139 is on the working camera while version 4.36.10.4054 is on the non-working cams.
Interesting. I still see Fire TV Stick as much better since it has a native plugin but…
If you have a more recent Samsung device you can check if Smart View about hidden developer settings has a Chromecast cast setting. I have the Wyze app streaming using the Chromecast 2 right now. Works very well. Very fast. Of course I did not test over extended periods. (Only tested it for you.)

Got to add some may assume its only on the devices mentioned in the link. If you assume that then you have a wrong assumption lol.
