Glare?

Hi everyone,

New to the community. I just installed my new Wyze cam v2 and really love it. I am experiencing some major glare from the windows at night. I’m surprised I have not seen more issues with this. Am I a total dope and have set this up poorly, or is there something I am completely missing.

And help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.

The IR will reflect off the glass. So you either have to move the cam outdoors, or turn off the IR lights in settings.

If you are talking about glare in a lit room, then you either need to move it to a darkened window, or move it outdoors.

That’s what I suspected. The IR is very powerful, and I am really impressed with how well the camera picks up even with out.
