When will the Wyze v3 Cam + Garage Door Opener be available from a retailer? I donāt want to order directly fro Wyze because product fulfillment and customer care are atrocious.

@Lugh I can here searching for an answer to that very question. At this point, Iād rather just wait until itās on the shelves at Home Depot.
That being said, this is one of the few Wyze products that I have been waiting for. Iām fairly excited, but I also sincerely hope that it works out-of-the-box without hiccupsā¦

I am looking for a link to the install instructions. I want to make sure this will be a relatively easy install into the motor.

Just my experience for consideration.
I do not see the device on THD, but I have ordered a fair amount of devices from Wyze in the last 2 months, and in my area (Midwest) fulfillment has gotten much better. Aside from Wyze Vacuum (6 days, which is still considerably better than before) everything else I have ordered including recently released products have been delivered to my door within 2 days.

Will the Wyze cam 3 stay in place with the vibration of the garage door opening and closing ? I had the V2 setup on the garage ceiling pointed at the door and it needed constant adjusting.

I just chatted with support to see if the new garage opener works with Alexa and/or Google voice commands. He said theV3 will work but not the opener. Should be able to use voice commands to open and close the garage, Even my Keurig coffee maker does this! Could not find this on Wishlist or #roadmap.

I know, me too. Maybe top two or three on my wishlist. Also, I have a Linear garage operator, but for some crazy reason they donāt put the model number on them - at least not the model I have. Itās a 2018 so I feel pretty confident itās one of the ones listed.

Best way to test compatibility of your garage door opener is compatibility test method #2. Those will be the terminals that the new GDC will connect to.

Thanks for that Good. Itās not so much the speed of delivery for me, itās that when an item never arrived, I never got a response fr Wyze customer care to take care of it. I ended up having to get Amex reverse the charge. Havenāt hear from Wyze to this day. Just too much frustration. I just assume wait for it to show up at Amazon preferably.

Why use a QR code when this could easily be detected using AI?
Where are most folks mounting the camera and controller? I was thinking of mounting at the back of the garage so the camera and see more of the garage? Seems like that should be ok so long as the QR code is in the field of view. What am I missing?
