Floodlight v2: PIR and Camera motion detecion - not working properly

Just got a floodlight v2 recently.

A very basic question: how does motion detection (camera + PIR combined) work?

  1. I have camera motion detection zone reduced to a very small area within 3 feet from the camera.
    PIR is set to include all segments and at 78%. All segments (left, center, right) enabled.

I walked past the floodlight v2 from 20 ft away. No motion was detected.

Anyone can help explain why motion was not detected?

This above use case was working 2 days ago. But suddenly the floodlight v2 can no longer detect motion this morning.

  1. If I only want to use PIR motion detection feature but not camera motion detection. What’s the way to do this? Dial camera detection level to lowest?
