I’ve had this Wyze floodlight pro installed for at least over a year now. It’s been working great this whole time. Last week, I noticed that it said it was off-line. So I turned the power off, waited a few minutes, and turned the power on. That seemed to resolve the issue. Except a couple days later, the same thing happened…it said it was off-line. So I turn the power off again waited at least an hour, and then turned it back on. And the camera came back online. But as of yesterday evening, the camera went off-line again. I’ve tried to do the power/breaker, and that didn’t work this time. The camera is showing a solid purple light. I held down the set up button on the back in order to do a factory reset, but the camera doesn’t respond to it. It never says “ready to connect.“ I tried reaching out to support, but all of the AI generated text is not helping me. They told me to submit a log, so I did, but that doesn’t fix my problem and I need this porch light to work. Does anyone know what I can do to get this thing working again?

Wyze are you guys serious now both my flood light pros is not working it’s always something with wyze. You guys started this company doing great now it’s problem after problem and it is all one sided we the customers are not getting no gratuity’s for these problems that seen to last for days and at this point the security factor is useless. I need the flood light also the security
Bumping this up. I’ve had the same problem. I’m going to keep commenting on these posts to keep them up until we can get them working. This is probably THE MOST expensive camera and it is right now the least reliable. It has great video quality…when it works.

I just had an electrician look at the wiring to my floodlight. No issues. Got to be the device itself. I find the lack of any solution or acknowledgement of a problem disturbing. There are lots of posts in this forum about similar issues. Something’s wrong.
I’m happy with my Wyze devices I’ve deployed around my home and have considered upping my monitoring from Wyze but I will not pull that trigger until I can rely on that floodlight and I simply cannot do that right now.
I’ve been a wyze customer for years and have many cameras around my house. I’ve recommended them to family in this country and other countries and this floodlight dying for no reason after a year and a half is the last straw. I’m gonna be looking for another option. By the way, both of the cameras that my family used in Panama both died for no reason also.
I’ve had mine randomly stop working from time to time as well. My biggest issue is it won’t turn off when motion is triggered. I’ve been happy with my other Wyze products but this one is problematic. I’ll probably switch it out this summer with a regular motion sensor floodlight from another brand.
I have 10 WyzeCams. They all work fine. I had the original flood light and replaced it thinking it was defective. Unfortunately, the Pro won’t authenticate with my phone even though it shows as connected in the Wyze App and in my Deco app. Gave up a few months ago but my wife has been bugging me to try again. Well, spent the weekend and still no progress. So infuriating.
So do Wyze staff ever come here and check what’s being said. The floodlight appears to be an issue but I’m not seeing any answers.

Still hoping they come back with some response. I read forums talking about work arounds which are beyond me. If it doesn’t work as advertised time to move on. I won’t be adding to my Wyze cameras if I have to become an IT expert to do so.
