Is there a way to use the Floodlight function with the camera off
That depends on which floodlight you have. On the original Wyze Cam Floodlight the light has its own PIR motion sensor, and users in an older thread here reported that the PIR-triggered light keeps working even with the v3 disconnected - just user reports though; Wyze’s own help article says the floodlight needs a v3 installed. On the Floodlight Pro the motion detection runs through the camera, so with the camera off there is no motion trigger, though one user there reported a light that was already switched on stayed on after turning the camera off. Worth knowing either way: turning the camera “off” in the app only stops streaming and recording - the camera still has power, per Wyze’s “Using your Wyze Cam v3” help article.
