Regret upgrading to latest firmware. Ever since when viewing events the time gets all out of sync and jumps all over the place tried resetting and just about everything.
Cloud events or playback from the SD ? I updated five V4 cams yesterday to 4.52.17.19 one at a time and they are all working correctly. Cloud events and SD playback are working without any issues.
I am using the iOS app 3.21.1 (2) and iOS 26.7
From sd card. If i go to a time it will skip ahead a few seconds the more i go back and rewatch a certain time the more it gets out of wack freezes up and out of sync. Both camers do the same thing after updating and worked perfectly before.
I just checked SD playback on four of the five V4 cams and they all work just fine. I have Samsung Pro Endurance 256GB cards in all cams recording continuous and have been for years.
Thats good to know. Thanks for letting me know. When you go to a specific time how many seconds does it skip ahead below before it starts? Does it start at the same exact time on the timeline below?
The only issue I had yesterday was after I updated my phone to iOS 26.7, the WYZE app wouldn’t show any events until I force closed the app and restarted it, then all returned to normal. If I get brave today I will update to iOS 27 and wait for the 
I just check SD playback on the fifth V4 and all is normal.
Just tried it again after resetting all cameras uninstalling the app and resetting my modem. When scrolling though the sd card on the app the time doesnt match the camera it jumps around and goes out of sync compared to the actual camera time. The video also skips around sometimes like if viewing a car it totally disappears and jumps forward in time. Guess ill give it a while and see if it corrects itself.
I wonder if WiFi signal strength on the new firmware is an issue? A way to test is Temporarily move your v4 and phone next to your WiFi router. Record some SD card video and see if it plays back smooth.
Thats possible. I just looked and the cameras show two bars when before they showed 3. Not really sure to be honest.
No change in WiFi signal to any of my cams. Three bars on 3 of them and two bars on the other 2 which are further away from the router.
A rollback firmware option would be nice for troubleshooting. Ive had nothing but problems since updating them. Time will tell i guess.
The last firmware I downloaded and saved was the December 3,2025 firmware for the V4
4.52.9.5332 (December 3, 2025)
It does sound like a wifi signal issue. Perhaps coincidence, there is some new interference or your router changed channels around the same time you did the update?
@Cld If you can, pick one of your cams having the issue and format the SD card using the WYZE app. After the format completes, let it record for at least 10 minutes. When you go to view the video that was recorded, are you still experiencing the jumping time issue?
Same here. There are also long pauses in audio so now I only hear small blips of audio and the rest is silence. Terrible update for me.
New Beta Update may address this.
Hopefully… it worked perfectly up until i updated the firmware… i tried everything including formatting thr sd card. The time between the camera and the app slider continues to be out of sync and skips around.
All eleven plug in cameras I have show the time difference , Five V4, Five V3, one V3PRO. The time on the screen and the running time line do not match but I don’t see an issue with it. Takes time to record I guess? The playback on none of them skip around or freeze, all full smooth complete playback.
Play with it some more scroll back like 20 mins or more try micro adjustments on a certain occurrence. It will totally freeze or skip around eventuality and if it doesnt the time will be out of sync mismatched by minutes on the camera vs the slider. I find this unacceptable and extremely difficult to use the camera as intended to locate certain occurrences when it worked perfectly before. Maybe nothings wrong with it for you but i find it odd im having this problem after updating and used the cameras just fine for a year or more before.
I’ve already “Played” with it, 20 min back, 2 hours back, spread out the time line. I do not have the issues you do of skipping or anything freezing.
