Looks like the regular V3 firmware is coming down to my cameras now.
Was: 4.36.11.8391
Now: 4.36.13.0416
The V4 is updating too.
4.52.70367 to 4.52.80648
Thanks!

Same hereā¦the squeaky wheel finally got some oil.
Looking forward to see if this resolves the stuttering problem for my CAM PLUS v3 cams that have sound disabled. From what I have read, it shouldā¦
Edit:
Confirmed, this firmware resolved the playback issue. Events recorded with the older firmware still stutter, but all events recorded since the firmware update play as they should.
Same here!
All pre-updated events still stutter, but post-updated events play smooth as silk.
I would really love to know what they tweaked to fix it.
I bet they could have fixed it with an event player patch, but they may be using the native Android code, and had to fix how the video was presented to the player.
Who knows, but it took a LONG time for this to get fixed!
Known1:
Do you have the original date the V3/V3 Pro cameras started stuttering on event playback (when Record Sound is off under advanced settings)?
Yes, see the solution post in this thread:
Glad to report the event playback issue (playback button grey out) is solved in my v3 after the latest firmware update.
28 November 2024 (aka 28 September 2024) and the July 18, 2024 firmware .0416 for my V3 Pro just showed up so I installed it. In true WYZE fashion it killed the cam and it was sent to off-line land until I power cycled the cam via smart plug. It is now in operation so I will see if it keeps working without issues.
Thatās interesting. I bought a new V3 last week but didnāt activated it until today. After setting the camera it asked for update four or five times and all the updates went without a hitch I was getting ready to manually flash like so many others have, but thankfully didnāt have to. Now all my V3ās are on 4.36.13.0416.
Dude. How in the actual did you get so far into the future?! Do we have flying cars yet?
I used the MFP time machine, Iāll fix my post to 28 October 2024.
I was hoping you got some lotto numbers.
So youāre still a month ahead of the rest of us but getting firmware updates from the past?
Iām with Steve on this one. Think of the children and their marshmallows!
Iāve always been ahead of my time.
