Try clearing the cache from within the app. This is done by going to account, app settings, clear cache.
Then shut the app down by swiping up.
Since you are on Android, long press the app and select app info. Once there go to storage and cache and clear cache there as well (not Storage), then do a force stop and close the info window.
Any time I clear the cache within the Wyze app, I also go into the OS storage settings for the wyze app (android in my case) and clear the cache there too. Not data, just cache. I don’t do it frequently but if I’m seeing odd things it makes sense to do both.
In the past (year or more) there were some app updates that I actually had to uninstall and reinstall the app to get things working again, but that was more around the time that they upgraded from the 2.x app to the 3.x one and due to being a major upgrade, a clean install seemed to work better. I haven’t had to do that in a long time.
