Fast exit from the 2nd floor

This drunk driver probably figured he couldn’t navigate the tight turns on the exit ramp down to the ground floor so he took the quick exit. Happened at 4:00AM at a local Parking Garage. :clinking_beer_mugs: :wine_glass: :cocktail_glass:  .

Are you confident it was a drunk driver? I know it seems like the obvious answer, but you might be surprised at the alternatives.

That’s what the news reports indicate. The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

“Yeah, I’m gonna need you to step out of the vehicle and come walk on this line….”

Made me think about a building I worked in 35 years ago. I worked on the 15th floor of the building on the right in the picture below.

I used to park my car on the roof of the parking structure on the left (in the yellow circle). I had a Corvette so it was worth the effort to drive it to the roof where I could watch it. One day I was looking down at my car and saw a guy standing on the edge of the parking structure roof talking to himself.

I called building security who went over to the roof. I could see the security guard back off, so I know the guy said get back or he would jump.

Police crisis negotiators showed up and it took about 2 hours to talk the guy off the edge. Felt good that I helped save a person’s life.

Back to the thread topic, in the 6 years I parked in the yellow circle I never had trouble getting my car down the right way.
