Fan Control Independent of Heat/Cool Call

OK. I love everything Wyze. I love how you advance your products. And I am hoping you can and will help.

We live at 7,000’ and so don’t have AC. We do have a whole house furnace, BUT….

BUT we heat our home with a wood burning stove (in the family room). As such, even with heat set at 60F during the day, 58F at night, the heat never gets triggered!

The result is that we have to have our whole furnace fan on manually 100% of the time or go through the pain (and poor results) of manual trying to turn it off during daylight hours when the sun sufficiently heats the outer rooms.

With some sort of independent fan controls we would be able to reduce our fan run time, lengthening its life and more importantly decreasing electricity use (which has gone up 45% here in SoCal in the last 4 years).

Help please!!!

Hmm. do you use the furnace at all? or do you just use it as a fan? if you never use the heat function, you could wire the thermostat to only run the fan when a heat call is made.

In Settings under Advanced you can set Fan Cycle (the minimum amount of time your fan will run each hour) up to 30min/hr.

I live in a Condo and my heat rarely runs due to heat from other units. I have Fan Cycle set to 15min/hr so that the power humidifier runs.
