I believe this bug has been identified and reported to Wyze in the 2.44 App Hotfix #1 Release Topic. Read, Follow, and reply there for any updates and information.

Wyze app hotfix - Released 8/3/2023

When 1st coming into the Wyze app version 2.44.1.1 (iOS 15.7.8) or coming back into the iOS app after force-closing, tapping the Events tab icon results in a blank events list (no call to populate events list is made).
