New to Wyze Cams(already have 3!), and I’m wondering if I’m missing something. I’d like to create a shortcut to turn on Event Recording, but that command doesn’t seem to be on the list of possible actions. A real timesaver would be a way to turn on Event Recording for a Group.
I believe Action > [camera] > Turn on motion detection will translate to Event Recording as well, but I’ve never tested it. Let us know if it works.
You can select that option for multiple cameras in a single shortcut, and schedule it too. I have one that re-enables detection on all of my cams at 9 PM for instance, in case I turned any off during the day.

It does modify sound detection so it’s not exactly the same
