Currently there is no way to set a temperature threshold while the thermostat is running in Emergency Heat mode. In order to use it, you must manually turn it on and off, effectively making you a human thermostat.
This is a huge oversight on the development side.
Just about all standard “dumb” thermostats have this feature. It would solve issues for both electric and dual-fuel customers alike.
This is something a simple firmware update could resolve. It’s time Wyze add this feature to its thermostat!
