This is not as advertised. The literature says the battery will last for up to six months. I live on a busy street, so I’m cutting the sales pitch some slack. I would be happy with one month. My first battery charge lasted two weeks. I was on the phone with support staff, did a factory reset, changed all the detection settings, changed video from 2K to 360. Bought a set of back up batteries. I replaced one three days ago. Three days and the battery is reading 56%.
How many notifications are you getting? There is a bug where it constantly triggers events no matter how you have the detection settings configured, and if it’s always recording, it chews up the battery quickly. Wyze pushed a firmware update a few days ago, but it barely helped. Mine’s now in the box and headed back to Wyze, unfortunately.

I get very few notifications. But, when I go to the device, it has events like cloud movements, shadows, and cars going by.
I checked the firmware, it’s up to date.
Yeah, I should have said “events”, not notifications. Every event makes the camera record, whether or not it decides to send you a notification. There are several other threads about the same issue, and no indication when it will be fixed.
