Doorbell Replacement

Hello everyone. I am doing this post on my cell phone so forgive me if I completely post this in the wrong area(s).

I got my Wyze doorbell and I came across a minor situation when replacing my Ring doorbell.

The builders installed the Ring doorbell in my house, so it had a box to house the Ring unit.

The Wyze doorbell was smaller than the Ring, so I had to get a little creative.

Luckily, I just happened to have a light switch cover laying around. Drilled some holes and it all worked out.

I have come across the same issue and was googling solutions. I was hoping to find that Wyze made a plate to mount. Maybe in the future they will come up with something but like you, I’ll get an electrically plate of sorts and adapt it.
