Doorbell Duo Battery Charging Issue

I recently purchased the Wyze Doorbell Duo to replace my Ring Doorbell and after installation I noticed that the battery wasn’t charging but my Ring wasn’t having issues. I assumed it was a defective product so I exchanged it through Amazon for another one. The replacement is also not charging either. The battery itself will charge by USB cable. Wyze Support basically said to get a refund but that’s not what I want to do. I read on this forum the other day that some smart doorbells need a bit more power and the best success came from a 16v 30VA doorbell transformer. I swapped the transformer out today and it’s still not charging. I tried resetting the camera, resetting the breaker, taking the battery back out again and no resolution. Does anyone else have any suggestions or am I just inevitably going to have to stick with my Ring?

What detail can you share about the kind of chime you’re using and anything else you’ve installed in the system (e.g., any diodes, Wyze Chime Controller, a jumper wire, etc.)? Also, what AC voltage are you measuring at the doorbell button wiring and at the transformer when you test those locations?
