Do album photos remain after reformatting SD card?

if sd card is reformatted on Wzye pan cam are album photos deleted or do they remain available on the app? I don’t want to lose the photos but need to reformat a full SD card.

Hi, @TearoseAlb. Welcome to the community! The album snapshots in the Wyze app are stored on your device. So, reformatting the mSD card will not delete your photos. :slightly_smiling_face:

Further to that, can user set in Their device (phone, tablet) that the album be directed to device,s removable sd card?

No, I don’t think so. If you can, I’m not aware of it. My snapshots are stored in my phone’s gallery, and I connect my phone to my PC and backup the photos that way.
