Disappointed in Wyze

I have purchased many cameras over the years from Wyze. I have been extremely happy with my products, and looked forward to new products. Now, not so much. After this last update, my cameras take at least 10 to 15 seconds to load before they come on. If I need to check one, I have to wait for it to load. It’s very frustrating.
Also, it seems like Wyze is fazing out the outdoor wireless cameras. The only one they seem to have is the battery cam pro, which doesn’t have very good reviews.
Please bring back the older outdoor wireless cameras.

Welcome @samijo4

Curious on the 10 to 15 second load times. How do you have your camera’s setup? Are they all on the Favorite screen? If so, I would minimize the amount of Cameras on that page and use cameras in groups to add to the Favorites page.

Can you let us know what version of the App you are using? Asking because I signed up for Beta releases, the latest release will allow you to toggle an auto-stream option for the Favorites tab and allow for a more condensed view as well.

All of my cameras load rather quickly, so would like to reason out where the issue is.

Are you using Android or iOS, I have both and can yest on both.

Do you mean battery powered cams or wifi cams? Pretty much all of the current lineup can be used outdoors, but requires power from either a wall outlet or one of their solar panels.

I doubt they’re going to bring back older cams, but you may be able to find them on the used market or possibly new old stock somewhere.

Wyze Cam Outdoor v2 Bundles are still available on Amazon.

I’m pretty sure I have the latest update on the app. I have 5 cameras on my favorites. When I click on a camera, it says loading live and I have to wait until it loads before I can see the yard.
I’m using iOS. The delay happens on my iPhone as well as my iPad.

That would seem to imply wifi signal issues. Once it loads, is the video in full resolution and smooth?

My WiFi was upgraded a year ago. Once it loads, the picture is in full resolution and smooth. This happened right after Wyze upgraded the app. I can check my WiFi again and try grouping the cameras differently.

Odd, you can try clearing the cache in the app, or potentially uninstalling and reinstalling the app as that has solved some issues that people have had after it upgraded.
