Direct Unlock toggle is gone

Hey everyone,

I was using my Wyze Lock Bolt with my Wyze Video Doorbell Pro, and the remote unlock feature was working fine. But after my doorbell froze, I had to reset it. Now, when I go to add the Wyze Lock Bolt under Accessories in the Doorbell Pro settings, the direct unlock toggle doesn’t show up. It just says “Loading…”, and when it’s done, backing out shows “No devices” linked.

I’ve tried:

Updating firmware for both devices

Power cycling both the Lock Bolt and Doorbell Pro

Removing and re-adding both devices

Clearing the Wyze app cache

Checking for app updates

Still no luck. Has anyone else had this issue? Did Wyze remove the feature, or is there a fix?

I have confirmed the feature has either been removed or has been broken in the Wyze App itself on version 3.3.5.623

I have also tried to get this working and can confirm it just says loading, then doesn’t add my lock to the doorbell.

Have you been able to re-add your lock? Does unlock via the feed work for you anymore?

No. Can’t readd the lock. I can see in in the accessories menu, but clicking it says loading, then nothing. I spoke with support, none of their troubleshooting methods worked, and was told that I should just keep trying ocassionally as they release firmware updates sometimes… Twas’ very helpful.

I can try and readd it again later tonight when I am home then upload the log.

I tried on mine with no luck. I provided @WyzeDesmond with my log files as well.

Has anyone noticed in this version of the Wyze app you can no longer unlock the door at ALL via the Video Doorbell Pro feed? This is horrible :cry:

Wyze is looking into this. I will see if we can get a status update
