Detection Zones Suddenly Stopped Working

My V3 cams suddenly stopped honoring the detection zones after over a year of working fine with no changes. Looks like there was a recent firmware update in July around the same time the issue started. Anyone else?

Yes. My folks are having the same problem. This is the 2nd camera that’s had this problem. Its rotation stopped working and cannot move more than 1/2”!

OP is talking about a regular v3 and detection zone, not the Pan v3 and moving the camera.

Is it a v3 or OG? This is a known issue with the OG but you’re the first I’ve seen post about the v3 doing this.

My OGs seem to have resolved themselves but it took a couple weeks, Wyze is trying to get to the root of the cause.

It’s the V3. Clearly a bug. Please fix.

You’re the first to report it with a v3. Unfortunately I can’t fix it, I don’t work for them.

They appear to have resolved the issue.

Lucky! This seems to happen fairly often. The detection zone on one of my cams (v2) stopped working a couple of months ago, and Wyze support hasn’t been able to fix it yet.

Same here - 3 v3 cams worked flawlessly for a year and some change, but now not all motions are captured nor do I receive notifications when they are.
