I have two cameras with Cam+, and the detection zones are not working on them. I keep going to the settings and it will say it’s off. Not to mention I’m paying for Cam+ and it’s still detecting tree branch movement as pets and constantly getting notifications every few minutes. Is this a bug or anybody else having similar issues?
You have a detection zone set right, as in you’ve greyed out some (but not all) squares? Try clearing cache in the Wyze app and also in your phone’s OS for the Wyze app.
As far as the branch movement causing a pet detection, there must be something in the frame that it is mistaking as an animal. It just uploads a still frame and looks for anything in the detection zone, not just where the motion was. Are you able to exclude that branch from the detection zone (or maybe exclude or physically move something that looks sort of pet-like)?
