The owner (OP) of a forum topic (1st post) decides which reply, if any, is a solution to their topic and is the only user who can mark a reply as the solution. Moderators do not intervene. The OP asked how to delete a day of events. A moderator gave them a solution.
Your use case involves easily deleting a day or more of events without tedious scrolling which is beyond the scope of the OP’s issue and belongs in the Wishlist category.
