The motion detector triggers the alarm when we are home and there is no option to inactivate it to prevent triggering the alarm. Need an option to have the motion detector turn off while at home when we activate the alarm system. Thanks.
Don’t have the HMS, but I would assume if you arm it in home mode the motion sensors won’t activate. If not, maybe there’s a setting for that.

At the bottom of your Monitoring tab, press Home Monitoring Settings, then select Home & Away.
You can click Edit Sensor List to include sensors in the On Duty list (will trigger the alarm) or remove them from the list to exclude them (Off Duty - Will not trigger alarm). There are seperate lists for both the Home and Away state of the system.
