Data breech and class action

So here’s my question, since the data breech happened there are now lawyers involved with a potential class action lawsuit. Will Wyze still be able to operate and support their services if this leads to a judgement against them? I’d hate to purchase anymore products if Wyze won’t be around to operate them. Thanks.

Sue happy mentality has me so :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:. No matter what happens big or small the answer is sue. My wife and I were just talking about the parking lot at her strip mall. If someone fell who do they sue? I said anyone and everyone they can.

I’m sure Wyze has some type of insurance for this. And much MUCH larger breaches haven’t amounted to the judgement being much. And the people doing it aren’t thinking because roughly 90% goes to lawyers. So they get a check for $1.14 or .79. Heck I got a check from Amazon for something I didn’t even know about for .13. That was my pay out. Boy did we party:confetti_ball::tada::partying_face:

is penny candy even a thing anymore? thats about all that would buy…:frowning:

I know right! it actually cost them more to send the check than I got back from them. Made no sense at all.

Note the large number of ambulance chaser law firm adds during local news. They are not public service announcements. A lot of money is being “made” by lawsuits.

They’re on almost back to back to back anymore. There’s a new lawsuit over something every day

Not saying a class action is a good thing, I know how they work, big money for the lawyers and usually the 2 or 3 main plaintiffs. Then a few bucks for the other thousands of people. I get it. I was just wondering if Wyze is going to be able to survive. That’s all.
