Custom Chimes for doorbell

Thanks for contributing to this topic, too, because it gives me an idea to try: Based on something I read in another Wishlist topic, I wonder if it’s possible to use something like MacroDroid to intercept only doorbell button press notifications and give them a specific sound.

I agree that this is something Wyze should do itself, rather than relying on third-party solutions to (possibly) achieve this. When I look at the notifications settings for the Wyze app (in Android settings, not the settings internal to the Wyze app), I see things like “General” and “WyzeMessage”. It would be cool if there was a dedicated “DoorbellPress” notification type that users could customize with a chosen sound.

Our garage door suddenly opened in the middle of the night. We have push notifications enabled but that alerts for each camera. It would be helpful to have a separate alarm-type sound available for individual cameras. An alarm that you can enable or disable for each camera. Cars drive by all the time so push notifications go off constantly. But if it was a different alarm sound for our garage camera then we could have gotten up and investgated the situation. Thank you!
